BHP-ML-IMG_3224_024The Black Pig is committed to producing high quality pork produce from their herd of rare breed Berkshire and Tamworth pigs which are traditionally reared in large woodland paddocks in the Chiltern Hills.

Founder, Bruce Garside, has spent 8 years perfecting rearing pigs to the highest welfare standards in the most natural of habitats.

Our pork is butchered by a high quality, award winning  butcher.

Our award winning sausages are made with prime cuts of shoulder, belly and leg and are made with 80% pork in natural casings, once tried, never forgotten. Our customers often tell us that after eating our sausages they won’t buy sausages from anywhere else!

We attend local farmers markets and supply a selection of quality local delis and restaurants that appreciate the quality of our produce.

With our hog roast service, we can either hire you a machine and supply a woodland reared pig to cook and carve yourself or we can provide the full service with carver, server and homemade apple sauce and stuffing for that special occasion.

Our box scheme enables you to buy a variety of our produce which you can collect from our pick up point in Watlington, from one of our markets or have delivered to your door.
